The iPhone 3GS is now officially launched in Malaysia – one of the first countries in Asia this time round. The launch of the iPhone 3GS not only brings to Malaysia the fastest iPhone available, it is also offering better values to the existing Maxis iValue plans. The 4 Maxis iValue plans have been revised and customers can now send free SMS and MMS between Maxis lines while calls between family lines locally are free as well. These new additional offers are already available for existing iValue customers.
Maxis is also offering an Easy Payment Scheme for selected credit cards. Available for 12 or 24-months, customers can get their hands on an 8GB iPhone 3G for as low as RM60 a month while the 16GB iPhone 3GS is available from RM80 monthly. Existing iPhone 3G customers will be given at least a RM500 rebate if they wish to upgrade to the iPhone 3GS.
