[Gadjet] Panasonic unveils LUMIX DMC-FP8 digital camera

Realizing that consumers are looking for digital cameras that take high-quality photos and feature advanced photo settings and yet with fashionable and slim design, Panasonic continues with releases of the latest models in its new FP-Series. New LUMIX FP-8 does exactly that, carefully balancing technical features and visual appearance, two sometimes very opposite worlds. That being said, you won’t be disappointed should you decide to bring this beauty home as a present to yourself or a someone you really, really love. Before you hand out this cool present to someone, you could capture smile on face of lucky recipient in full 12.1-megapixels glory, thanks to its high-quality 28mm wide-angle, 4.6x Leica DC lens with folding optics, all stacked in a futuristic-looking stylish body.

So, what you can expect to find inside of that uniquely designed shell? The FP8 comes with advanced functions including high-speed Auto Focus (AF) and Panasonic’s Intelligent Auto (iA) suite of technologies. High-speed start-up of only 0.95 seconds combined with a fast AF means that the FP8’s catches even the most fleeting shots. Panasonic’s iA, a popular feature on LUMIX cameras, now includes POWER Optical Image Stabilization (O.I.S.) which allows double the repression power compared to the previous image stabilization system, MEGA O.I.S. Thanks to improved POWER O.I.ST problem of getting blurry photos ( usually caused by hand-shake generated when pressing the shutter button, or when shooting at night with a slow shutter speed) is significantly reduced.
