Uniten Shutters' Facebook group page has opened two new slots! Wooooot. The mentioned new slots are:

1. WEEKLY PHOTOGRAPHY TIPS

-- Tips on photography techniques will be posted by Shutters board members every week. So watch out for the tips/information as it might be something new to enhance your understanding, or something new that you can practice and master in! 

2. ASK SHUTTERS

-- We have received several messages from Shutters members saying that they have a lot of questions to ask about photography, but sometimes they have no chance to ask directly. Therefore, you can ask us any questions that you have in mind, and we will try our best to come out with the best answer to help you out. Questions can be asked through Facebook, either post it up to our wall or inbox.

AGM 2010/2011 Announcement

THE UNITEN SHUTTERS ANNUAL GRAND MEETING (AGM) IS BACK!

The AGM is held to introduce the Uniten Shutters committee members, as well as to get to know each other among us all. We will also be selecting anyone to those who are interested to be a part of our committee!

The details of the AGM are as follows:

Welcoming Semester 01, 10/11

Salam and hi everyone! Welcome back to Uniten! Phew, look at that. How long have we been silent? Hehehe. So hopefully everyone has enjoyed their 3 months of holiday, special sem, or internship.

Anyways. New semester has started, new spirit is skyrocketing high. So are we! We, Shutters have planned lots of activities that will be, insyaAllah, held during the new academic year of 2010/2011.

There are a few adjustments have been made in Shutters, especially in the organization chart. Our president, Solehah Mohd Sabri is no longer in Uniten. We will always be missing you. :')

To see the amendments that have been made in the organization chart, do have a look at the sidebar. Check out the new president as well!

Okay now let's have a look at the activities that have planned to do in 2010/2011. Here goes:

reminder

ONESNAP COMPETITION VOL. II

Hi everyone! As you all already know, Shutters Uniten is organizing a photography competition called OneSnap Competition Vol. II.

Just to remind you that the LAST DATE to submit your photos is on 28th DECEMBER 2009, which is THIS COMING MONDAY.

You can submit your pictures at our booth... in COE & COIT. You don't need to print the pictures! just send us the softcopy (in CD). Easy!

Other reminder:

-photos submitted for the competition will be displayed during the exhibition soon.

-prizes will be given at the prizes-giving ceremony at 30th December 2009 (Wednesday) at DK2, 8-11pm.

Howkay. *whistle blows* Attention everyone!

Remember last semester, where we had announced that there was a photography competition - OneSnap Competition Vol.2 - but later it was postponed for some reasons? Well, guess what,

ONE SNAP COMPETITON IS BACK!

Remember to check the details in the poster. And if you need further information regarding the competition, don't hesitate to contact the number stated in the poster or visit our booth on the given date! We will be waiting for you.

Terms & Condition for Onesnap Competition:

1) Penyertaan adalah terbuka kepada semua warga UNITEN (pelajar/pekerja).
2) Yuran penyertaan adalah sebanyak RM 5 bagi ahli dan RM 10 bagi bukan ahli. Peserta
dibenarkan menghantar seberapa banyak penyertaan, namun hanya layak memenangi
hadiah bagi salah satu penyertaan sahaja.
3) Penyertaan hendaklah dihantar secara ‘softcopy’ iaitu dalam bentuk CD.
4) CD yang digunakan untuk menghantar penyertaan disediakan sendiri oleh peserta.
5) Penyertaan mestilah mengikut tema yang telah ditetapkan. Penyertaan yang tidak
mengikut tema akan ditolak.
6) Peserta bebas menggunakan apa sahaja jenis kamera; baik DSLR, kamera digital, kamera telefon bimbit, dan lain-lain.
7) Pemenang akan dinilai melalui nilai estetika gambar, keaslian, ketepatan mengikut tema
serta teknik/kaedah yang dgunakan dalam penghasilan gambar tersebut. Gambar boleh di’edit’ tetapi tidak keterlaluan.
8) Pihak penganjur juga berhak membatalkan mana-mana penyertaan yang didapati tidak
mengikuti terma dan syarat yang telah ditetapkan.
9) Segala penyertaan tidak akan dikembalikan dan akan menjadi hak milik pihak
penganjur.
10) Pihak penganjur tidak akan bertanggungjawab terhadap sebarang kerosakan dan
kehilangan bahan penyertaan.
11) Pihak penganjur berhak untuk menggunakan nama, gambar yang diambil dan
maklumat lain pemenang untuk tujuan pengiklanan dan promosi pada masa akan
datang.

Uniten Shutters would like to invite EVERYONE that has a tendency about photography to join us playing around with the camera.

Time: 8 a.m-11 a.m (gather in front of ATM at 8 a.m)

Transport: Provided. BUT. You are welcomed to use your own transportation.
Food: Sorry to say..but food is not provided.

FYI,this is an underground program, not under HEP. So, your understanding is very much appreciated, that every cost is on our own.
